Women’s Health Event

Microbira attended the Women's Health event in collaboration with Scottish Life Sciences Association and Burness Paull.

Microbira was honored to participate in the Women’s Health Event hosted in Edinburgh on 12th September, in collaboration with Burness Paull and the Scottish Life Sciences Association. The event featured a strong lineup of speakers addressing advancements in reproductive medicine, pharmaceutical innovations, menopause research, and the role of diversity and inclusion in corporate settings.

The discussions offered invaluable insights from industry-leading experts. We extend our gratitude to the organisers, for creating such an impactful forum. Microbira is proud to be part of these important conversations and looks forward to continuing to support initiatives that champion women’s health.

 

Products specifically addressing women’s health needs often receive lower levels of investment than general health solutions, despite being a critically important area of healthcare.

In collaboration with Scottish Lifesciences Association, the healthcare and life sciences team from Bunress Paull hosted an excellent afternoon event showcasing some of the exciting developments and initiatives currently underway which have the potential to improve women’s lives, demonstrating world-class innovation and scientific and medical expertise.

Guests had the opportunity to hear presentations and a panel discussion from a variety of leading experts working in healthcare & life sciences in Scotland, including event chair Dr Janet Halliday, former Associate Vice President of Ferring and current Board Advisor (CMC) at Calla Lily Clinical Care and key note presenter Shonagh Walker, Head of Pharmaceutical Development at Ferring Controlled Therapeutics.
